I am a PhD Candidate and Hagler Graduate Fellow at Texas A&M University, Bush School of Government and Public Service. I expect to graduate in the spring of 2026. My research focuses broadly on civil conflict, alternative security orders, international intervention, and state capacity.  My dissertation is entitled Dangerous Delegation? States' Motivations to Outsource Security.

I earned my MA in International Relations from Koç  University in Istanbul, Turkey in 2021. I won a Fulbright ETA to Turkey and taught English at the Social Sciences University of Ankara during the 2018-2019 academic year. I also won a Critical Language Scholarship in 2018 to study Turkish intensively at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Baku, Azerbaijan.
